The Production of Abstraction.

I wanted to research into perceptions and abstractions.

Starting out with a list of 50 words and phrases I took a photo for what I thought each word or phrase meant. Both item and phrase were combined to create 50 A3 colour posters.

These posters were then surveyed with the general public, "excuse me, what do you think this means?" So now I had an alternate list of 50.

Now I could make comparisons between my list and the original 50.

I produced a gate folded poster/booklet documenting the process.
